Our plan is to integrate aspects of TeenSPace into a 2019 Party in the Park event which will be jointly organised by the BW Town Team and the BW Parish Council.

The event will take place on Sunday 16th June in Priory Park between 12 noon to 6.00pm. No doubt you are familiar with the Party in the Park events that the Parish Council has put on in previous years (most recently 2017). It is a free event open to anyone who wants to enjoy a Sunday afternoon in Priory Park with entertainment and activities provided. Some refreshments are available for purchase, or people can bring their own picnics.

This year, we will incorporate into Party in the Park the opportunity for community organisations to be involved. We would particularly like to tap into the enthusiasm for teenage involvement created by the TeenSPace concept and would invite any of you who wanted to put something on involving that age-group to do so. For those of you who were not sure that you would be able to come up with a teenage centred activity, you would still be very welcome to put on an activity for other age-groups as Party in the Park is most definitely a family affair.

Bishops Waltham Dynamos will be supporting the event and will have an activity set up on the day to encourage local teens that aren’t involved in sport to consider taking up a role within football.
