Match report

Bishops Waltham Dynamos U15B - 3
Test Valley Lions U15 - 1
Testway League U15 Division 2

A fine bright morning and a rare appearance at Hoe Road for us this week, and the second match of the double header with Test Valley Lions. Dynamos were still missing a sizable chunk of the squad and had twelve fit to play. Jack captained the side again. Lions began the match full of confidence after last weeks fiasco in Andover. After five minutes Aaron turned awkwardly and had to leave the field with what turned out to be a rather serious injury which would keep him out of action for some weeks. Dynamos created a couple of chances early on, one from a corner for Tom L and Jack through on goal but shot just wide. However, in an evenly contested first half the only score went to Lions. A free kick from a long way out evaded JT high to his right and fell just under the bar. So, a repeat scoreline at halftime from last week. Manager Adam had to lift the boys to get their season back on track.
Whatever was said at the interval did the trick, and in some style too. Almost form the restart Dynamos were first to everything, soon Dynamos were level, Jack was played clean through on goal and this time he didn't miss. Lions battled hard but Dynamos midfield were strong, in defence nothing was getting past full backs Jed and Ads, Rob R was having a great game in the centre with Sam organising things as usual. A Dynamos corner was turned onto the bar by Jack, and soon after it was 3-1 as Jack latched onto a wayward defensive header to slot home once again for his hat-trick. This was a brilliant all round team performance today, Dynamos almost unrecognisable from last week, really sharp up front, strong in midfield and first to the ball in defence, topped off with some assured goalkeeping too. Manager Adam was really pleased after the match, acknowledging great performances from Jack,Jed,Ads and especially Rob R who was man of the match today. Really well done all who played today to turn this around.
