Congratulations, Morgan! You were solid in defence today, either getting to the ball first or delaying the opposition’s attack to give the rest of the team time to get back and support. You were consistent, dependable and always there to put pressure on the opposition and prevent them from getting a shot on goal. A well-deserved award for a brilliant defensive performance!

Once again, you gave it absolutely everything! This was a great example of a player giving 110%. You’ve always had the speed, but you’ve also been working on using your strength and body position to win and protect the ball, and today those things came together brilliantly. Combining your pace with that strength made you a real handful for the opposition. Great to see you putting what we’ve been practising in training into action!

Next weekend, we have a 7v7 friendly, so we’ll need to bring that same energy and work even harder as a team. With a bigger pitch to cover, moving the ball through passing and supporting each other will be even more important.
